For the month of July, our dear friend, Miss Lindsey, has selected a variety of picture books about our National Parks. July is Parks and Recreation Month and what better way to celebrate than with a book. The list includes something for everyone with a title for the littlest bookworm, a title about puppies, and a title from our former first lady and her daughter.
You can find the full list here.
Miss Lindsey included this note about getting more involved in nature. “Of course, it’s important to always be a part of nature whenever you can! Learn more from the National Recreation and Park Association. If you and your little one are thinking about taking a trip to one of our country’s beautiful National Parks, check out the Every Kid Outdoors program, from the National Park Foundation. This program allows children entering the 4th grade to receive a voucher and visit these natural spaces.”
