Eat Your Fruits and Veggies for National Fruits and Vegetables Month
Did you know June was National Fruits and Vegetables month? I surely did not until the clever Miss Lindsey told me. Around our house, we eat a whole lot of fruits and a variety of vegetables but we definitely try to branch out and try new ones. My husband is from Texas so Annabelle probably tried okra well before a lot of us up north! I know I didn’t try it until I visited with him over a decade ago but I love it now!
Miss Lindsey compiled a lovely list of fruits and veggies-inspired picture books for your enjoyment. Maybe one of these books will help you introduce a new food into your diet.
