Easter Book List

When Spring Comes by Kevin Henkes and illustrated by Laura Dronzek is a sweet book about the seasons changing and how the brown grass turns green and the flowers start to bloom. This is a perfect book for babies to toddlers.

Pinkalicious Eggstraordinary Easter Book Cover

Pinkalicious Eggstraordinary Easter by Victoria Kann is one we are hoping to find this year. Pinkalicious is a favorite character to read and we love that the books usually come with stickers or extra fun gifts like Valentine’s day cards.

One Springy, Singy Day is the gorgeously illustrated first book that is both authored and illustrated by Renée Kurilla. The simple text and vibrant images make this an instant classic.

Otter Loves Easter by Sam Garton features the lovable Otter and his Teddy. Sharing isn’t easy and Otter isn’t sure she wants to share the yummy chocolate she receives from the Easter Bunny.

In Lola Plants a Garden by Anna McQuinn and illustrated by Rosalind Beardshaw, Lola is inspired by a poem she and her mom read to start a garden. This is one we are hoping for this year because Annabelle received a sweet gift of seed for her birthday and I hope to make our vegetable garden a success this year.

Duck and Goose Here Comes the Easter Bunny! by Tad Hills.

The wonderful duo is wondering where they can find the Easter Bunny. Follow the beautiful illustrations to see if they succeed.

Tucker Digs Easter by Leslie McGuirk is a silly book for any puppy loving child. Tucker is enlisted by the Easter Bunny to help hide the eggs but does Tucker do too good of a job?

That’s My Carrot by Il Sung Na, a carrot grows on the property line of two bunnies. They can’t agree on whose carrot it is but will arguing about it get them anywhere?

And a few of our well-loved Easter gifts

HABA Easter Eggs Toy

These HABA eggs were an Easter gift 3 years ago and I can say we play with them still once a week. Each egg makes a different sound and the bright colors are irresistible. We brought them on vacation in the summer of 2018 and Annabelle’s older cousins couldn’t resist them either. We had a round of finding the eggs each night that week.

Jellycat Stuffed Bunny Toy

Jellycat Easter Bunny is so soft and cuddly. Simply irresistible.

TOMY Squeak Egg Toys

These eggs have different emotions on their faces and make squeaking noises when pushed down. You can talk about emotions, match the colors, and enjoy the sounds. These are also something we use frequently still.
